Abstract:Based on multi-objective driven optimization theory, the stiffened plate thickness optimal value of a type of CNC grinder bed was solved. Through the using of three dimensional (3-D) software of Pro/E, the grinder bed of 3D model was established, and combined with the multi-objective driver optimization program of ANSYS Workbench software to design the steel plate thickness automatically. In the design, considering comprehensively the mass of the grinder bed, equivalent stress and the first order resonance frequency, the above factors were treated as an important reference to design optimal steel plate thickness. Through ANSYS Workbench software automatically optimizing, thickness of steel meeting the requirements of design was obtained. The method improves the design efficiency and reduces the design cost.
