Abstract:In order to improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar cells, a parallel mechanism moving with the sun was developed. The solar cell panels were installed on the parallel mechanism, so that the surfaces receiving light of the solar panels remained perpendicular to the incident direction of the sunlight, which increased the illumination intensity and made the cell panels to achieve the rated output power. In order to verify the feasibility of this operation of the mechanism, a mathematical model was established according to the motion characteristics of the parallel mechanism. The position of positive solutions is analyzed, which provide a useful exploration for its application.
