In order to achieve the widerange rotational speed calibration, the velocity synthesis function of spur gear differential was used to synthesize the high and low velocities of spur gear differential into the widerange and highprecision velocity output, so as to meet the calibration requirement of velocity. Theoretical analysis of unidirectional transmission error and backlash transmission chain error was made. Finally the transmission chains comprehensive error of spur gear differential is obtained at 036%, and the velocity transmission precision grade can be reached at 0.5.
