Shearing accuracy largely depends on the position control. The servo flying shear system is widely used in many domestic manufacturing enterprises, the traditional position control is hard to achieve the control effect. According to the actual situation of industry flying shear system with strong disturbance, variable parameters, combining with the transformation project of 90 kW servo system of flying shear, a ladder type position control loop was constructed, and the fuzzy control was used to optimize the system by adjusting the PI parameters to achieve more precise control to the flying shear position.The result shows that systems response is rapid. Practice has proved that the flying shear control system based on fuzzy control has a good control effect.
