Abstract:Influenced by scalingoff cutting, to the mass produced rods and steel tube blank, the phenomena of burr and flashing are found. If the parts are processed by manual chamfering and lathe, it is tremendously labor intensive and low efficiency. To solve the problem, an efficient doubleheaded automatic chamfering machine was designed based on PLC control. The structural components of the chamfering machine were introduced , the gasliquid control diagram and the electric control schematic figure including the flow chart of software programming were described in detail.The practices have proven productivity and end quality are improved greatly because the chamfering machine can be used to realize double end continuous processing although loading once.
