Based on the detailed analysis of the causes of worm gear hobbing error,aiming at the tooth profile error influence brought by the worm wheel hob manufacturing error and hobbing enveloping movement,through comparative analysis,the method of combining LC3000 CNC hobbing machine own functions with numerical control (NC) program was proposed.The problem of tooth profile error control of double worm gear hobbing machining was solved.The results show that the method has the advantages of simple operation,high efficiency,stable quality and good assembly meshing etc.
