Aiming at the valve plates structure in an aviation piston pump, the generating mechanism of flow fluctuation was analyzed. A mathematic model of the flow fluctuation was built. A scheme optimizing the structure of the valve plate transition zone was raised, and MATLAB was used to simulate the flow fluctuation before and after the optimization. The results verify the flow fluctuation of the optimized piston pump is decreased obviously, it is indicated the optimization scheme has a good inhibition effect in the flow fluctuation.
