According to the bending characteristics of carbon fiber composite shaft, two different plies of the shafts were designed, and the finite element analysis software ANSYS was used in shaft antibending capability simulation, the bending strength and the maximum modulus of the shaft were acquired. According to the two plies, carbon fiber composite shaft were made, and experiments were taken. The results of the experimental show that the differences between Carbon fiber composite shafts’ theoretical simulation and experimental results is small; ± 45° ply is better than 90° ply in antibending capability of carbon fiber composite shaft.
