The comprehensive evaluation index system of foreign numercial control (NC) lathe reliability was constructed by the mean time to first failure time (MTTFF), mean time between failures (MTBF) and equivalent failure rate (D). The weights of each evaluation indicators were distributed by the variable coefficient method with objective weighting. By using the modified evaluation formula of reliability of repairable product, the reliability of foreign highgrade NC lathe is evaluated.
