Based on the proposed structure of a dripvalve, its operation principle was analyzed in detail. The theoretical opening pressure of the dripvalve was calculated. Then the simulation analysis to its flow field was completed with FLUENT after its 3D model was built. The contours of pressure and velocity of the dripvalve’〖KG-*2〗s flow field were gotten. It is shown that the structure of the dripvalve is reasonable and it can meet the design performance requirements.
