Taking the heavy truck as research object, using the driving performance and fuel economy as the indexes for consideration, combining the advantages and disadvantages of the hydraulic hybrid system and electrical hybrid system, a new dynamical system——oilelectrichydraulic hybrid system was designed. The structure of the system and the selection basis for the system components were elaborated, and the work pattern of the vehicle movement was formulated. The energy recoveries of hybrid power system and hydraulic hybrid power system were simulated by using AMESim software. The results show that the driving performance and fueleconomy of the vehicle have improved obviously, the hydraulic section have saved 25.9% in fuel consumption compared to traditional hydraulic hybrid car,hybrid power have saved 22.2%,the total fuel consumption have saved 24.1%.
