The operating principle of the system simulated the portage handling equipment on work site was analyzed. The signal was collected for identification of workpiece form photoelectric sensor and highspeed counter, and fetching workpiece was facilitated by improving the pneumatic manipulator through making use of the combination of ball screw and negative pressure vacuum suction cup pneumatic system. Finally the design process was provided of automatic portage logistics sorting system based on combination control of FESTObased PLC stepbystep procedure and vacuum negative pressure cylinder pneumatic system.
