The design and manufacture of a sorting and conveying robot system based on machine vision recognition were introduced. Machine visual orientation technology was used to identify workspaces and the four degree of freedom robot was used to carry and sort workpieces. The overall design of the robot sorting system, design of every component and attachments, the basic principle of visual system and programming, I/O communication and programming were also described. The system has been applied, the effect is good.
