Abstract:The traditional feeding mechanism of cold heading machine is composed of the crank rocker, the ratchet wheel and the feeding roller. Because of the error of ratchet wheel and the operation wear, the accuracy of its feeding is hard to guarantee. The control structure was presentd, which was based on ARM embedded system, servo motor, and ball screw and hydraulic tong as the core. By using digital control technology cooperated with mobile hydraulic clamp at high speed, the sysytem was improved of high transmission precision and speed. Compared with the traditional transmission mechanism, the system structure has a certain practical value,because it is more simple and more convenient in operation.
