Abstract:The development status, composition and function of the backfill were introduced, and the requirements for the design of the backfill plough were put forward. According to the design requirements and the actual needs, the design of the main structure was carried out, which mainly included the walking mechanism, the backfill mechanism, the adjusting mechanism and the supporting frame. On the basis of the existing technology, the backfill plow experimental prototype was built, and the land experiment of backfill plough was carried out, the traction change of different backfill rate and the opening angle of plough body was analyzed. The experimental results show that the plough body angle and the backfill speed are increase, the traction will increase,and angle change is the biggest influence on traction, backfilling speed should not exceed the limit, otherwise it will enable fill spillover.
