Energy from gunpowder combusting in a sealed explosive cavity was used to produce high impact load, the antiimpact property of the designed ER damper was tested. And the feasibility of control system and control algorithm was verified. Electrorheological buffer system model was established in Simulink environment, and the control algorithm was simulated and analyzed. Different fixed voltage load for damping force performance, different control methods and control strategy were analyzed and compared. The test results show that the fuzzy control algorithm has the best control effect. The results of the study provide reference to optimize the structure of electrorheological damper design and system control algorithm.
