Various kinds of blade roots and critical manufacturing points of forging lowpressure stage blades were introduced. The types of BladeR and its application were explained.The manufacturing bottleneck of BladeR was illustrated, and then a processing technology was proposed to solve the difficulty. A tested research was conducted on the basis of this processing technology. It is proved that using the processing technology and the designed special fixture, the processing efficiency of the key size of BladeR is improved. Meanwhile, the production cost is greatly reduced while the production quality is stabilized.
