The design of six degree of freedom (6DOF) testing platform for automotive suspension controller system with the servo drivers of Schneider LXM32A series and the whole mechanical structure of testing platform were introduced. The platform was controlled by six servo motors and the motor working by the communication protocol of CANOPEN. Then the platform was driven to simulate the road spectrum information of various pavements. The hardware system was mainly composed of the 6channel servo motors, motion platform and automotive suspension. The feasibility of 6DOF testing platform for automotive suspension control system is verified by means of downloaded the road spectrum information of various pavements.
