In order to meet the requirement of single small batch machining metal forming fund corundum grinding wheel used for carbide thread cutter,a new precision forming processing method for diamond grinding wheel was put forward based on the original method of electrical discharge machining metal forming fund corundum grinding wheel.In this method,the realtime detection,realtime control and two axes linkage full closed loop NC system were used to shape graphite electrode with single pole,then electric spark machining method was used to form diamond grinding wheel.Through experiments,the forming accuracy of graphite electrode was verified.This method can satisfy the requirement of small batch production forming.
