Based on NC milling machine system of FANUC 0i platform, the macro program using rules and skills were analyzed, macro program was put forward to customize fixed cycle instructions, and its feasibility was demonstrated with an example.Practice has proved that capture movement rule in the machining process of workpiece, flexible use of custom fixed cycle instructions can greatly simplify programming, and improve production efficiency.
