The rotating arm of the turning mechanism reciprocates within an angle to complete the working cycle. The hydraulic drive system of the turning mechanism was studied. Accumulator was adopted in the hydraulic system, to save the gravity energy when falling and reuse it when lifting, which could save energy. Simulation analysis to the hydraulic system was done with AMESim. By analyzing the energy consumption of the system, the hydraulic system with accumulator can effectively improve the efficiency of the system, realizing energy saving.
