Abstract:Visual positioning technology is widely used in modern processing and manufacturing industries. By analyzing the glass edging processing procedures, a new type of glass milling process was designed. The process was controlled by a computer and motion control card, visual targeting was implemented by a CCD camera. The process was mainly through visual positioning and error compensation to determine the exact coordinates of the workpiece, then the machining program was modified based on the coordinates and then processed. In addition, by recording a plurality of workpiece coordinate, array processing function was implemented.The practical application proves that the process can significantly improve the precision and efficiency, with a wide range of application value.
