Abstract:Grinding head is a core component of high-speed precision roll grinder, and its dynamic performances affect directly grinding performances of the whole roll grinder. Therefore, in order to ensure the requirement of the actual working condition about one adjustable High-precision Grinding Roll whose linear velocity of grinding wheel is 80 m/s, analysis is carried out for its modal and harmonic response in need. Combining the two results were analyzed to judge the structure of the grinding head whether reasonable, choice of materials whether correct, whether meet the requirement of the actual working condition and look for the weak area of the structure. The analysis results show that the structures that are associated with the grinding wheel structure and the main shaft are reasonable,choice of materials is correct, can meet the requirement of the actual working condition, and the weak area of the structure is the unloading device of grinding head. And it is put forward to the optimization goal about using the higher strength and lager modulus of elasticity material to casting the unloading device.
