Abstract:Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder is the raw material of many plastic molded parts.Because of the characteristics of the small particle size,poor flow ability of PTFE,artificial feeding mode is still used in many compression molding and extrusion molding machines which takes a large number of labor hours.Aiming at this problem,a polytetrafluoroethylene powder pneumatic conveying machine was developed after deep investigation to the last research on powder delivery machine.In the machine,the theory of vacuum aggregating was adopted.Easy to harden,blocking valves and abrasion were the main problems of PTFE powder conveying.To solve those problems,some special parts were developed to convey PTFE powder steadily such as stirring mechanism,the orifice valve,the powder gas separation mechanism and the discharge valve.Through prototype experiments,the relationship between the inner duct powder conveying speed and distance was verified.In the long delivery experiment,the maximum transmission capacity and the relationship between the daily amount of powder and the service life of the filter were achieved.The research has positive significance to the development and application of PTFE powder pneumatic conveying machine.
