Abstract:In order to identify the constitutive model of high density cellular rubber under quasi-static condition, the compressibility of the material is first analyzed. Tension tests and compression tests were then carried out. Thirdly, according to the results in experiments,the ABAQUS software was utilized to fit the parameters of four kinds of models including Mooney-Rivlin, N=2 polynomial model, Ogden3 and Vander Waals constitutive models, and the best constitutive model was selected. Finally, the finite element models (FEM) of the tension tests and compression tests of the rubber specimen were established, meanwhile, the finite element results and experimental data were compared. The results show that N=2 polynomial constitutive model is the best constitutive model.
