Abstract:Hydraulic controlled stop wagon retarder is a new automatic deceleration device of train humped,which improves the automation level of railway marshalling yard shunting.In study of hydraulic controlled stop wagon retarder,the system was modeled and simulated based on AMESim.On the foundation of analyzing the system working principle and control model of hydraulic controlled stop wagon retarder,the system simulation model was established by using the machinery,hydraulic and signal control libraries of AMESim.The dynamic characteristics including plunger displacement,plunger velocity,up-chamber and down-chamber pressure,accumulator gasbag volume and accumulator gasbag pressure were analyzed in the situations when the system was under the conditions of non-braking,waiting-braking and braking.The simulation results show the hydraulic controlled stop wagon retarder can achieve the switch among the non-braking,waiting-braking and braking situations,which has the deceleration and buffer action.The modeling and simulation analysis of the system provides a reference for the optimization design of hydraulic controlled stop wagon retarder.
