Abstract:In order to analyze and research on dynamics of ball screw, the contact impact model of ball screw based on ADAMS is established. Firstly, threedimensional (3D) model of ball screw was established using Solideworks software, then it was inputted into the ADAMS environment to define a contact impact model,which would be simulated and calculated. Based on the simulation of ball motion trajectory, the effects of speed and axial load on the ball impact return device were discussed. The results of the analysis are compared with the experimental results, which verifies the accuracy of the simulation analysis. It provides a new effective method for the dynamic analysis and vibration and noise research for ball screw in the future, which has a good application value.
