According to the ST-10Y Computer Numercial Control (CNC) turn-milling machining center as example, and combining with the actual processing experience and experimental analysis, the influencing factors were analyzed of the processing efficiency, surface quality and machining precision from the material selection, machining tool selection, cutting parameters and process arrangement in four aspects. It finds the best processing method and summarizes the practical and effective processing method to solve the problems in the processing.
