Abstract:In order to upgrade precision and improve machining efficiency, one speed lookahead algorithm was present for highspeed machining.In this algorithm, nonzero initial velocity and end velocity were allowed. Besides, the appropriate velocity profile which could satisfy the special speed limits and the direction limits was given.Based on the velocity profile that planned, the acceleration, the starting velocity and the end velocity were modified to guarantee the parameters of the specific trajectory block.The linear acceleration and deceleration curve method was used for driving the five axis cutting machine, also the cutting experiments was carried out.The cutting results testify the cutting quality meets the requirements of national standards, it proves that the algorithm is effective.
