Abstract:The traditional flow valve is almost consisted of the series differential pressure relief valve or parallel relief valve on the basis of the throttle. This structure would increase the system throttling loss, susceptible to load interference leads to low control accuracy and increase system complexity and other issues. To address the problem above, a twostage flow control poppet valve with dropspool opening compensation is presented. The main spool displacement was calculated by the main differential pressure of the sensor feedback, and with the feedback of the main spool displacement to do closedloop Proportion Integral (PI) control to achieve the purpose of controlling the flow. The flow controller was established by analyzing the working principle and mathematical model of the poppet valve, and the simulation model of the valve was established in simulation X. The simulation results verify the correctness and feasibility of the valve, and show that the valve has excellent static control accuracy and good static load characteristics, and its dynamic characteristics are good.
