Abstract:Ultrasonic vibration cutting is used to machine hard materials more and more widely,but its application in boring is scarce.The performance of vibration system affects the quality of ultrasonic machining directly,the experimental results show that the effect of compounddimensional vibration is better than that of singledimensional vibration,but how to achieve the “compound” in ultrasonic vibration boring is a thorny problem.To solve this problem,a kind of horn was designed to achieve compounddimensional vibration.The principle of vibration transformation was described.The structure calculation was done and the influence of the parameters to structure performance was analyzed by means of finite element analysis software ANSYS. It provides reference for the structure design and optimization of horn.
