Abstract:In order to realize the repeatability of the best grinding parameters for operators, a mathematical model is studied to improve the grinding force, based on which the effect of grinding parameters on the grinding force is analyzed. Firstly, the mathematical model of grinding force was centered on the acceleration of force. Secondly, the acceleration gauge was used to measure the amount of vibration generated during grinding process. Thirdly, the vibration acceleration measurement, grinding force model and Newton second law of motion were calculated to obtain the grinding constants. Finally, the grinding constants and grinding parameters were substituted into the grinding force models to compute the theoretical values. The results were verified by experimental results, and the error between experimental values and theoretical values was also discussed. The experiments show that the actual vibration acceleration measured by grinding force is quite close to the predicted result of the improved grinding force model. And the improved mathematical model of grinding force is feasible.
